Before the Golden Age of Radio, audio entertainment could be found on
carbon discs known as recording discs or records (Yes, there was
something before vinyl). Famous plays like Shakespeare’s Hamlet,
children’s classics such Lewis Carol’s as Alice in Wonderland were
found in every music, record and 5 and 10 cents store. Audio
productions were at their zenith during the late 1930’s through the
early 1950’s at which time television finally brought about the demise
of the Radio’s Golden Age
. Following this long tradition of audio entertainment, Short Form
Entertainment Inc. is presenting to our audience classic as well as
contemporary short audio production. The Sonnets of Shakespeare will
be followed by other classical pieces which include monologues from
famous American, and European plays .We produce one act plays as well.
The audio episodic is represented by the Short Form Entertainment Inc.
produced Van Nuys Lodge. An outstanding audio comedy series.
